This month’s hero proves that this country loves a good comeback story, especially if you’re a hot blonde willing to get naked. Lindsey Evans, the former Miss Louisiana Teen USA, who lost her crown after being arrested for marijuana possession and skipping out on a restaurant tab last year, is Playboy’s October Playmate of the Month.
The 19-year-old Blanchard, LA, native was busted after she and a couple of friends dined and dashed at a Bossier City eatery. After leaving the restaurant without paying, she realized that that she had left on the table her purse, which happened to contain her wallet, ID, and a bag of weed. It turns out being Miss Louisiana Teen USA for 11 months can be remarkably stressful.
Not long after her arrest, though, Evans hatched a plan to get back on her feet by lying on her back. She started her trip from the pokey to the Playboy Mansion when she contacted representatives for the magazine. A few days later, she was in Chicago for a test shoot.
Now she’s in the fantasies of thousands of men, where she’s bringing more joy to humanity than she could dream of doing merely as a beauty queen.
As for her folks, Evans says they are completely supportive of her career choice. “My mom says if she had the opportunity to do this when she was my age, she would’ve jumped aboard. And that’s exactly what I did,” the 2008 Northwood High School graduate said.
“It is pretty surreal right now,” Evans told the press while relaxing in a pool at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. “I can’t wait for the issue to come out. This is something I can’t believe is happening right now.”
Believe it, girl. You may have been stripped of your crown, but you showed your mettle by stripping off your clothes and showing off your landing strip.
But please don’t dare call Evans a dumb bimbo. She studied broadcast journalism at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches for like a whole year.
