Hopefully, four unruly teenagers have been scared straight thanks to the actions of one brave McDonald’s manager in a Salt Lake City suburb. If not for her call to police, these hooligans would undoubtedly be destined for a life of crime and incarceration.
Police in American Fork, Utah, cited 18-year-old Spenser Dauwalder and his three 17-year-old friends for disorderly conduct after they rapped – yes, rapped – their order at the restaurant’s drive-thru.
Reportedly, the employee taking their order did not appreciate hearing the lyrics “I need a double cheeseburger and hold the lettuce” (especially through the eatery’s tinny speaker system) and asked them to speak rather than sing. When they rapped more slowly a second time, the manager boldly confronted them outside and asked them to speak their order or leave.
When the thugs left without buying anything, the manager wrote down their license plate number and called police. Moments later, officers cited all four ruffians with disorderly conduct after pulling over their gangstalicious Mazda SUV. The teens said they were en route to a volleyball game, which, in Utah, is commonly a hotbed for gang-related activity.
The teens claim they were just imitating a popular video on the internet, which just proves that the web is continuously destroying the last vestiges of virtue in our society. One day it’s wiggers emulating douche bags rapping at fast-food joints, the next day it’s “Four Guys, One Cup.”
Conny Kramer, who owns the American Fork McDonald’s franchise, said in a statement that the issue was about employees’ safety at the restaurant. “The employee in question felt that her safety was at risk as a result of the alleged actions of these individuals in the drive-thru.”
While a group of teenage rapping Mormons may seem innocuous to most Americans, keep in mind this is Utah, one of the whitest places in the world. The average citizen there is threatened by hip-hop much like white people were threatened by jazz in the early 20th century. It’s music created by black people; therefore, it’s dangerous and subversive. After all, you can’t spell rape without rap.
Not only that, but rapping is a gateway evil. Rapping can lead to dancing, and dancing (as every good Utahan knows) can lead to smoking, drinking, and wild sexual orgies.
